The Squadron Heads Off
We are off to London, they are off to Paris. 1000 feet above us, we'll both step climb as often as we can to save fuel.
Unlike other types, most Airbus flights will be able to immediately climb to 35,000 feet unless restricted by traffic. With the EA engines, at 35,000 they start "making fuel" — below that you sometimes have to earn your money.
