CONTAMINATED AIR IN AIRCRAFT

aircraftcontrails

My book, The Crash of MH 370, advised that there are 1,300 smoke or fumes events in USA and UK every day, and makes 13 urgent recommendations.

I used the numbers from Aerotoxic.org.

In 2018 they have amended their website, claiming one
‘fumes event’ every 2,000 flights. With 104,000 a day (IATA 2014) that makes 51 cases a day.

Dr Susan Michaelis of the University of Stirling’s occupational and environmental health research group say, of contaminated air inside aircraft:

“It’s unsafe. This is not all about health. This is also about flight safety. If air crew are incapacitated in flight, everyone is at risk.”
